The Romans were a group of people who started in 750 BC to 550 AD. Then it turned into a whole empire. At the start they were just a group of farmers but when they weren't working and getting their fields ready they went off to fight other towns and took over. Then they went back to plant and reep their fields. In the 550 AD they turned into an empire.
